Getting into the groove of getting creative on the road takes a bit of work.  Rather than trying to catch up with items I have not posted I will be randomly be posting what the current internet accepts. Getting good service that can download the pictures is frustrating.  Below is a pattern I bought for a pin cushion and sewing tool carrying caddy.

This is a wool felt embellishment for a wall hanging that you can change the embellishments to coordinate with the seasons.
Below: Good pattern for a small back of the couch quilt or wall hanging.  The quilt would be made with half square triangles.

Made 14 of these because they are super handy and work well.  They make a great gift.  Really love these things.  Thanks Mavis my burnt fingers are history.

This place was amazing.  Emilliano was a dedicated weaver to the ranch.  Teaching his children while he worked.

While traveling to Oregon in September 2015 there were many hours to wrap cord...

This turquoise basket's lid is down inside the basket.  Very easy to fit as you go type work....embellished with hand polished hard woods from a bead shop in Naples Florida.

This chartreuse basket is about 12" in diameter and 10" high and has about 180' of cord wrapped. I plan to embellish the top with large buttons, taken from my vintage and antique button collection.

On this trip 7 100' clothes lines were wrapped. Yikes!

This basket is 100' of line this includes a mat of about 11".  Made with quality batiks for Levi :+)

These baskets were made from my sons dungerees pants, from his service in the US Navy.  The solid navy is the pants and the spotted material is a filler because the pants were thick and a little difficult to work with  The words on the handles are his name that marked the  pants

The buttons are from a Navy Pea Coat.  Basket made for Seth...

100' feet of line was used in this one.  Basket cover fitted to the in side of bottom.  Made for my daughter Charity and son-in-law Beau.

This bowl has been embellished with vintage buttons, hand sewed around rim.  A few beads were also added. This basket is practice for the special vintage and antique glass buttons I am saving for special piece.

My first attempt at creating a lid turned out quite nice
Picture
Lid has two extra coils hand sewn on top of finished lid, bottom. First coil was machine stitched but stiching flattened the coil too much.  The basket edge did not catch the lid so the fit was not good.  Adding the second coil by hand stitching, adjusted the coil to fit, and held lid tighter.

Kasen's basket made from left overs of his first baby quilt.

Leftover black and white fabric on small basket.  Embellished with one of my hand made red ceramic buttons and an interesting vintage pearl button. I think this will be special for the guest/ kid room in our new condo.  Multi color yellow, black, and reddish basket was vase shaped and self embellished...that too is a great finish if nothing special is available. These baskets are truly addicting....
Saw this on Pinterest....thought it would be perfect for my daughter...acrylic and watercolor on canvas board.
