Long but manageable drive from Los Barriles to Constitution

We arrived at a park we lovingly call the dust bowl/sewer RV park.  Some parts of the park were very nicely groomed but where they put us was in a newly graded dust bowl.  In the middle of the night we all woke up to the intense smell of sewer from the city sewer area. I will stress very intense smell. Yuck!  The park had a hot tub...or maybe not.

The nice part of the park was pictured in the top two photos above.  Where they put us was in the bottom two photos.

The main town area had many topiary trees in the median.  This man was at the sidewalk taco shop.

One more visit to the weaver before we leave for Playa Santispas with Mike & Lori, and Cork & Cathy. We would be braking free of the caravan for one day.  The others wanted to go fishing in Loreto Bay.

The first night was cold and windy but we laughed until we cried!  Turned Cork's Airstream sideways to block some of the wind.  Such a great time with great people.

.I should have taken more pictures of these tiny shells on the beach. They were all different colors. We had super red sunsets.

This standard poodle ran up an down the beach all day long.  His owner said he was chasing fish.  He stood still for a moment here. She said he could hardly walk at night.

Shopping from our RVs and from our chairs.  This family was delightful.  Mother, father, son, daughter -in-law and grand daughter; from Mitla Oaxaca City.  Miguel Garcia and Isablel Sosa are holding the rugs we bought. They had a book that I took pictures of the process that they go through to spin the wool and dye it with natural plant dyes.

    About  Us

After my husbands widow maker heart attack in 2004, the doctor said just relax and enjoy life for a while. So it happened: the 43' NewMar Mountain Aire coach was purchased and the house sold....eventually. Relaxing? Not always! We are truly blessed to spend this time together... and with friends.

    Up Date:

September 2015 now traveling with Ford F350diesel dually and Host Mammoth Truck Camper.
