Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction was newly redone so it was very nice. Each dry campsite was raked and perfectly organized for each guest. Beautiful rock formations all around, including a ride up to Tortilla Flat Lake and the "tourist trap".
.....standing in this very place in the camp ground at sun set, while I was waiting for Bob, there was a choir of coyotes for several minutes...it was unreal! The coyotes were on left and sunset on the right!

     This family style or menu restaurant was right around the corner from the camp ground and was very good. Not sure I liked the metal plates to eat off. Service is quick and food tasty. Met this precious dog in the parking lot with some local people we talked with for a long time. How cute is she!  We had a very active feeder in this park...   | Below Tortilla Flats...named after ...you guessed it tortias! ...there is a story here...         |
