The travel to Lake Havasu was a pretty ride on the Colorado River. Across the river was California and we were on the Arizona side.
The first night we stayed on the beach in Lake Havasu State Park. Everything else was booked and packed tight.
We enjoyed good Pizza and a little thrift shopping. Found a H.M. Hadley pitcher which is a collectors piece and a plate I have been looking for almost 2 years. The turkey is open for discussion and is an old piece because I found the scripted S on the bottom which indicates Smith glass company. I need to find the light green Jadeite bottom and the dark green jadeite top. Any one have one they want to sell? We rode up through California and up to Kingman which had very dramatic scenery. | All over the desert cactus are blooming. |
Found a new camp site just up the street one block with hook ups. The first night was not so good, very shall we say cozy? $21. The rest of the week much was much better and the park started to grown on us. Same cost per night was $21. Very convenient place to everything and pretty pool-spa area. New Laundry casita. Wifi is decent. PassPort America was accepted.
