The Durban airport pictured below.
It was a good flight from Durban to CapeTown. Our driver took the liberty of changing his route to our Castle, so we could avoid rush hour traffic and drive along the coast. It was Just beautiful.
Colona CastleFresh fruit, water, tea, bisque and brandy each day. These are just a few pictures of the inside of the Castle. Our breakfast table, juice, fruit, cereal, and yogurt bar, that we could eat while they prepared the hot portion of our breakfast. We ate on fine china and used silver cutlery! This was the view at breakfast. On the right is the bed in the room that we turned down. The other room had a nicer bathroom...it was a difficult decision. | Our veranda overlooking the coastal areas. In the evening on cooler days, Micheal (the castle owner), would light a fire in the entrance and sit and enjoy the fire. Dinner the first night was delightful. Just 3 minutes from the Colona Castle was the Live Bait restaurant and it was delightful. Sea food pasta and catch of the day, appetizers, special drinks and desert with a view for $31. tip included. |
