So there isn’t too many dull moments on our trips usually. The following screen shots are of the news alerts we received the night of the earth quake. We had just gotten into a deep sleep and everyone of our devices started to alarm. There was an earth quake and possible Tsunami warning. Being new to the area we were alert but not sure what to do. Out of the now silence, we saw numerous cars and trucks headed for the water. ( look outs ?) Then we saw campers pulling out of the state park…a bit unnerving …I went outside (raining, dark enough, and 40 degree something) in my tee shirt and saw the owner of the camp coming towards me. She said they are monitoring the wave action and would let us know if it became serious. The quake was a few hundred miles south and only Kodiak Island was evacuating. So back to bed 😳 …no sleep present here, so I finished my book I was reading. All ended well….. Ended the beautiful day at the VFW Where Todd was cooking burgers.

Glad you are safe. Spent a week parked on Homer Spit. Loved it. Even the swooping eagles! Was the highest priced laundromat of our trip,! Contine to enjoy the great adventure!
